SaaS product motion case study

TalentOS. The launch motion.

A career platform launches as a game. The film opens on the rejection email everyone has received, then lets the product play itself: missions, wins, a profile that levels up.

The brief01

The brief

TalentOS calls itself the first ever game for your career. That is a product claim with a story inside it: applying for jobs is a loop of cold emails and templated rejections, and the fix is to make growth feel like play. The launch film had to carry that whole argument in under a minute, on a feed, against everything else on the feed.

So the film starts where the audience actually is. A compose window. A polite application. The templated no. Only after the pain is on screen does the name card turn, and from there the product does the talking: missions instead of applications, a community that answers, points that become rewards you can hold.

Every screen in the film is the product's own UI, animated with intent. The type chapters are the film's navigation: each one names a mechanic, then shows it working. No lifestyle stock, no abstract 3D. The product, moving the way it feels to use.

The film, beat by beat02

The film, beat by beat

Ten beats, in order. Each loop below is cut straight from the film; the note says what the beat is doing. Tap a beat to watch that moment in the full cut, sound on.

01

The application

Two emails tell the whole problem: a hopeful ask, a templated no. The film earns the product by naming the pain first.

02

The turn

A three card type chapter flips the mood. Work hard was never the problem. Then the name, then the claim: a game for your career.

03

Start your journey

Missions replace applications. The first screens set up the loop the whole film runs on: pick a mission, do the thing, post the proof.

04

Grow with your community

Mission 8 gets posted like a story, not a resume line. The UI writes the habit the product wants to build.

05

Share your wins

The comments answer, the points land, the leaderboard reorders. The film slows down here so the social proof can actually be read.

06

Level up your profile

The profile is the resume that builds itself: about, commitments, achievements, all fed by the missions above it.

07

Claim real rewards

Points become physical: a laptop, a day pass. The claim button is the argument that the game is not a metaphor.

08

Get discovered

The payoff inverts the opening. Instead of applying, the notifications arrive: employer spotted your profile. The loop the film opened is now closed.

09

And many more

Courses and a roadmap widen the product without restarting the story. One breath, three screens, next.

10

One platform

The close is the claim said plainly: all in one platform. Logo, wordmark, out.

The receipt03

The receipt

The film went live with the product, posted by the founder. The receipt is one click up: the live post, playing on the feed it was cut for.

One product, one argument, under a minute. If your launch deserves more than a screenshot, this is the format we would reach for.
